Pastor's Message
Rev. Joe Marchio

Dear Church Family,

I am thrilled to be back! Seeing your smiling faces in worship this past Sunday was a wonderful way to return. I have spent the last several days trying to catch up on all that is going in the life of the congregation. A lot of things have happened in the past three months. The church is a very busy place these days!

As I mentioned on Sunday I cannot thank Reverend Terry Newberry enough for his guidance and leadership during my sabbatical. And I am very aware of how honored and appreciative he was of your support during my time away. I am also extremely grateful to Stephanie Riley and Marilyn Sink for their dedication to the choir and music of this congregation. And, of course, we are all elated that Julian Petrallia remains in our midst to lead our vast sacred music ministry throughout the rest of the summer season.

Most importantly, I want to think all of you, the members and friends of this congregation, for all of your support. The past three months were a wonderful opportunity for me to embark on several future endeavors that you will be learning about in the coming days and weeks. So, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This has also been a time for me to refresh, rest, and prepare for a busy time that is coming in the life of this church. The 300th anniversary of this congregation is rapidly approaching and very soon we hope to make a reality of the Vision 2020!

Faithfully,
Joe

 Summer Choir

If you have ever wanted to sing in the choir, we have an opportunity for you.  Under the direction of Julian Petrallia,The Summer Choir meets every Sunday at 9:00 am to rehearse a hymn or simple anthem for that day's worship. There is no obligation to sing every week of the summer, just on the Sundays that you can.

EVERYONE is invited to sing! Choir members will not robe and are not required to sit in the choir loft. This is a perfect opportunity for professionals and novices of all ages to lift their voices during worship.

Save those travel size products!

Our knitting group is planning to knit up a storm this summer, making hats, mittens and scarves for the needy. They plan to fill them up with travel size soaps, shampoo, etc. and will bring them to Hyannis in September.
If you have some to donate,
there will be a collection box under the info table in the vestry.
