BENSON - HOMETOWN FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION

Parade - Firefighters Water Fight - Food & Craft Vendors.
The festivities head to Lions Park at 10:30am for the yearly "Water Fight". Enjoy entertainment all day long followed by a Spectacular Fireworks Show at 8:30pm. J

Round out your Fourth of July with a community fireworks display beginning at dusk. If you would like to be a sponsor or provide donations, contact the City of Willcox at 520-384-4271.

Enjoy fireworks, music, chili cook-off, arts & craft vendors and more with family and friends during the Fourth of July celebration.
The Fireworks display is sponsored by the Sierra Vista Rotary Club, City of Sierra Vista Leisure and Library Services Department, Fort Huachuca, local businesses, and community members.

- All Day - Arts & Crafts vendors @ Veterans Memorial Park

AUGUST
Apple Annie's is a family farming operation with orchards where you can pick apples, peaches and pears right off the trees. Plus, they offer the best sweet corn in southern Arizona. Fresh farm grown vegetables are offered in the produce barn. If you come hungry, visit the Orchard Grill. Want a great adventure, be sure to check out the 20-acre Corn Maze and take a hay ride. Remember to pick your pumpkins from the Pumpkin Patch before you head home.

July 30 - August 3. Southwest Wings Birding & Nature Festival is Arizona's oldest birding festival, beginning in 1991. It is the premiere nature festival in Arizona, consistently voted one of the top 5 birding and nature festivals in the country. The Southwest Wings mission is to promote nature-based tourism and environmental awareness in southeastern Arizona. SIERRA VISTA - 19TH ANNUAL HUMMINGBIRD TRIATHLON
August 17 (7am).
Relay teams consist of two or three competitors in the male, female, and coed divisions. A team's division will be determined by the age of the youngest member of the team. Age divisions are as follows: 10-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

August 31 (7am). The 7th Annual Ride will begin in Historic Railroad Ave Park in Willcox, AZ. Riders choose between a 33 or 66 mile, out and back course. Email for more details. After your ride, enjoy listening to "Mike P & The Mighty Joel Ford" jam in the park. La Unica will be

selling breakfast burritos starting at 6am. And Presta Coffee Roa
sters will be brewing on their mobile cart before the sun comes up! There will also be many local vendors in the park selling produce, nuts, handmade soaps, popcorn, custom
shoe inserts and more. We invite you to stick around and participate in our post ride festivities.
All proceeds from this ride will be donated to "Small Town, Big Dreams" a 501 c(3) that supports advanced education.

SEPTEMBER
BENSON - LANTERN FESTIVAL
September 7 (2PM - 10PM). Family entertainment, food vendors, lanterns released at 8pm.
SIERRA VISTA - ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST
September 13 (5pm-11pm) & September 14 (11am-11pm), Veterans Memorial Park.
Enjoy two days of fun and entertainment... it's Autumn at its finest. DOUGLAS - COCHISE COUNTY FAIR
September 26-29. Cochise County Fairgrounds, 3677 N Leslie Canyon Rd. The Cochise County Fair Association will host its 95th fair this year. The theme is "Cochise County may be a square but not our County Fair." Enjoy exhibits, live entertainment, fair food, livestock shows, contests, a carnival, and much more. Great time for the entire family, so make plans now!
BENSON - SUNSET HIKES AT KARTCHNER CAVERNS STATE PARK
September 28. Hike 2.4 miles through the beautiful Whetstone Mountains. This moderate hike leads to a gorgeous mountain viewpoint. $7/vehicle includes up to 4 adults. Wear appropriate footwear, bring a flashlight, and plenty of water. For more information, call 877-MYPARKS.
