grew up with fairy tales, both the cute princess stories and the darker stories by the Brothers Grimm. I grew up with my Grandma's sayings and repeated by my mother. I grew up with expressions that were passed down from one generation to another. I always laughed at "when the cat is away the mice will play". And, while we never had a cat, I could imagine the mischief the mice would be getting into. When it comes to SVQ, I was sure that while Barbara was out on her journey to dancing a jig on new knees that the little mice left behind would be playing away! Oh, those fairy tales and sayings set me up for much disappointment! Alas, we've been busier than ever and if you haven't stopped by this last week I do believe you will be quite surprised by what you will see and what you might not see!
First, I must tell you that we have been answering the back door, unloading more fabric each and every day... from Southwest to Christmas to Halloween to Floral... bolts and precuts, patterns and stabilizers we have been unpacking, cutting, bagging and tagging! There is a lot of NEW to see!

In our current summer cleaning, moving, organizing, unpacking and let's see how much we can change before Barbara gets back into her store we've found some hidden treasures... some one and only items... and store samples that are ready to find a permanent home elsewhere.
