July 2018 Newsletter
A Message from the President - Dean Athanassiades

Across a number of dimensions, our Society seeks to become more connected and more interactive with our members. This new community-enabled newsletter format is one of the ways that we seek to execute on our three-point strategy: Engagement with our Members, Professional Development, and Growing the Brand for our Society. During our annual planning session, each of our nine Committees (Academics, Awards, Communications, Conference, Education, Experienced Professionals, Industry Advisory, Students, and Young Professionals) established breakthrough objectives and goals for the Society's 2018-2019 operational year that are focused on our three-point strategy. In future articles, we will share details on objectives and goals for each of our Committees.
