Bill Walker Memorial Golf Tournament

This annual event benefits the AMAC Foundation's Scholarship program and honors one of AMAC's own tireless servants, Bill Walker. Mr. Walker's affiliation with conference began with the Los Angeles, California Conference in 1988. A golf sponsorship or ticket is required to attend this event.

Celebrating Women in Aviation

This unique breakfast highlights the personal and professional experiences of women leaders in the aviation industry. Proceeds benefit the AMAC Foundation. A ticket is required to attend this event.

Steve Johnson Elected to the National Restaurant Association Board of Directors

HMSHost President and CEO Steve Johnson was elected to this year's National Restaurant Association Board of Directors. Steve Johnson is exclusively representing the airport dining industry, providing guidance and expertise into innovating all sectors of the restaurant business.

Three Questions with Balram Bheodari 

Balram Bheodari was named interim airport general manager at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) in June 2018. As the leader of the world's busiest airport, Bheodari oversees airport operations and a multi-billion-dollar capital improvement program that will pave the way for growth over the next 20 years.

Hudson Group Opens "World's Largest" Hudson Store

Hudson Group has opened its largest Hudson store at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), called ATL Shops by Hudson. The retail space totals more than 5,000 square feet.

MBDA Broad Agency Announcement

The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) will provide Federal assistance to support innovative projects seeking to promote and ensure the inclusion and use of minority enterprises that are not addressed through other MBDA programs.

U.S. Enplanements Reach All-Time High

The number of air travelers on U.S. airlines continued to increase through March 2018, according to data from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Enplanements continued to rise in the U.S., reaching an all-time, seasonally-adjusted high of 73.1 million for March.

AMEX To Open Centurion Lounge At LAX In 2019

American Express will open the 12th location of its signature airport lounge network, The Centurion Lounge, at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in 2019. Spanning more than 13,900 square feet, the new lounge will feature amenities inspired by Los Angeles.

GAMA Thanks Congress for Bills Supporting Aviation

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) recently voiced its support of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives Appropriations Committees advancement of legislation that funds general aviation for fiscal year 2019.
