We asked our Fifth Graders how they will make a positive change in the world, and each week leading up to graduation we will feature some of their answers.

Memory Books

We're Finalists!

SJEC VBS
Vacation Bible School through St. John's Episcopal Church is for children from age 3 years up to 8th grade. This year's theme is "Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus", and it’s twice the fun for half the price $50 per child or $100 for two or more. Everyone enjoys dinner and receives a T-shirt and CD!

High-school teens seeking community service credit may use the VBS Volunteer Registration Form , as well as any adult wishing to serve. For additional information, please reach out to Rachel Hoenes Haak .
Summer Camp
St. John's Parish Day School Summer Camp is specifically designed for children  3 1/2 years old up to children entering Kindergarten in Fall 2018. Campers will have tons of fun while learning. Each week explores a different theme that's sure to spark curiosity, a love of learning, and more! Learn more about the themes on our website .

Parent Chat II
TONIGHT Thursday, May 3rd
7:00 PM–8:30 PM

Amy Abell is our Parent Chat speaker tonight. She is a certified Health & Wellness Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, has completed additional coursework through the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, and is the mother of two St. John’s Parish Day School alumni. This presentation will take place in ASH and is designed specifically for parents. The subject is “Advancing Your Family’s Health in the Real World!” .

Spring Carnival

There will be food from Chesapeake Food Concessions and handcrafted ice cream from Norwood Ice Cream, games, sports, inflatables, bouncing, and more! Don't forget to tell your friends, family, and neighbors. No admission fee. Consider volunteering!
Kindergarten Welcome Night
Wednesday, May 9th

For those thinking about going to Kindergarten here at St. John's, come and meet other Kindergarten families. Hear from our Panel of Faculty and Parents, with the opportunity for Q&A. Please bring your children as they will enjoy a classroom visit and snack. We will meet on the Terrace. Please RSVP to Mrs. Nadine Marks , Director of Admissions.

Mobile Ed STEAM Museum
Thursday, May 10th

The Mobile Ed Productions "STEAM" Museum is coming! Our Auditorium and All Saints Hall will be transformed into a high-tech, interactive museum for our 4-year-olds through 5th graders to enjoy. Some highlighted hands-on experiences will include:

"Kidsinger Jim" Hossick will be sharing his experience with interactive performances and showing how he writes from story to lyrics to song. Two of our students, Sofia and Tessa, are featured in his song "Eat Your Veggies", which is on his latest CD. You can check out his website to learn more.
