We are rolling out the scarlet carpet when
Rutgers Day
returns April 27 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Admission and parking are free.
With
more than 600 programs across four campuses to choose from, there's something for everyone!
Come and learn about all the great things going on at your state university.

Here's a sampling of what you can expect on each campus:
- Busch - Programs featuring the Life Sciences, Rutgers Business School, and newly expanded Engineering Science Fair
- College Avenue - Rutgers Day and All Alumni Parade, global village, and programs honoring alumnus Paul Robeson
- Cook - Ag Field Day programs focusing on the environment and agriculture, including animal shows, as well as programs from Douglass Residential College and Eagleton Institute of Politics
- Douglass - 45th Annual New Jersey Folk Festival

Hub CIty Music Festival takes New Brunswick by storm throughout April with
23 days of performances in venues all over town showcasing renowned performing artists and supporting the local music scene.

Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company,
one of the most innovative and powerful forces in the dance-theater world,
makes their
State Theatre
debut April 11.
Join in the fun at the
International Folk Dance Gathering April 13 at the Hungarian American Athletic Club.
Dances from nearly a dozen countries will be performed
in traditional costumes and taught to attendees.

The British are coming! Watch
East Jersey Old Town Village come alive with the 22nd Regiment of Foot & the 4th Battalion on patrol, April 6-7.
Enjoy demonstrations of blacksmithing and stone carving and horse-drawn wagon rides. Free.
Attend an artist reception April 6 at the
Zimmerli Art Museum for
Irina Nakhova: Museum on the Edge to celebrate Nakhova's first museum retrospective in the United States. The evening includes a conversation between the artist and one of the curators.
Writers at Rutgers Reading Series presents
novelist and essayist Alexander Chee, author of
Edinburgh and
The Queen of the Night, April 10 at the College Avenue Student Center.
Eagleton Institute for Politics welcomes
four of the most prominent African American political analysts and operatives in the country--Donna Brazile, Yolanda Caraway, Leah Daughtry, and Minyon Moore--for a conversation about their book,
For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Politics, April 29 at Douglass Student Center.

Observe the night sky
through a 20-inch optical telescope at the
Robert A. Schommer Astronomical Observatory on Rutgers' Busch Campus
on select Thursdays of every month, weather permitting. This month's dates are April 11, 18 and 25.

New Brunswick Ciclovia returns April 14 with miles of streets closed to traffic and open for recreation. Participate in
healthy activities along the route, including rock climbing and dance and fitness classes. Free.

Rutgers Living History Society presents Donald A. Ritchie, Historian Emeritus of the U.S. Senate, with the first
Rutgers Oral History Archives Legacy Award April 26 at their annual meeting and brunch at the College Avenue Student Center.
The
New Brunswick Free Public Library provides programming for
adult emerging bilinguals interested in improving their English language skills. Volunteers are needed for the eight to ten week program and training is available.
