Haifa Al Kaylani (2017) is working to end hunger in the Arab region. The League of Arab States has invited Ms. Al Kaylani to present her project on sustainable agriculture in Jordan at a meeting of Arab ministers of agriculture in Cairo on April 3.

Lisa Braden-Harder (2016) has been mentoring social entrepreneurs in Santa Clara University's (SCU) accelerator. Ms. Braden-Harder also attended an immersion visit to Nairobi working with 30 SCU alumni who are tackling some of Kenya's biggest challenges around sustainable impact.

Brett Perlman (2016) says for Houston to continue to grow economically, immigration is increasingly important. Mr. Perlman and the Center for Houston's Future released a report showing that cutting immigration by 30% could cost the city $51 billion in GDP.

Eduardo Elejalde (2015) is helping improve conditions and self-esteem for people affected by schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Mr. Elejalde's Natalia Mental Health Foundation released its quarterly newsletter with new details about research and job placement services.

Steve Leveen (2015) is leading with languages. Mr. Leveen's podcast, America the Bilingual, has partnered with Lead With Languages to show how learning a language has helped real-life professionals find and thrive in a range of exciting careers.

Mário Porto Fonseca (2015) is launching a new online course in farming. Through the course, Mr. Porto Fonseca aims to share the lessons of his farm, Sítio do Cedro, and contribute to sustainable milk production in Brazil.

Mark Feinberg (2012) is working to develop a vaccine for HIV. Dr. Feinberg and the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative announced the start of a Phase I clinical trial to test a novel HIV vaccine candidate.
