 Upcoming Events

Senior Adult Concert and Luncheon
Friday, May 4 | 11 AM
Our Senior Adult monthly luncheon will be unique in May! At 11 AM we are excited to have the Melody Makers, a Matthews community choir, bless us with a concert. Following the concert, we will have our regular potluck lunch (please bring a little extra to feed our guests!). We hope that you can make it to this special event!

Women's Summer Bible Study
Tuesdays, June 5-July 10 | 7-8:30 PM
The Women's Ministry is offering a six-week study on "God's Covenant with Noah" led by Carolyn Carpenter. This study will focus on how God's covenant with Noah fits into God's overarching plan of redemption, culminating in Jesus Christ. We will see relevance to today's time with widespread corruption. The Genesis passages show the seriousness of sin and need for a savior. Application for us is our responsibility of sharing the gospel with people drowning in their sins.  The class begins on June 5 from 7-8:30 PM and costs $5. For details and to register for this class, please go to christcovenant.org/wbs.

Vacation Bible School 2018
June 18-22
Vacation Bible school at Christ Covenant Church is a mission of our Seek the City youth mission week, June 18-22. Registration will open on May 1. VBS is free and open to children ages 5-11. (Note: Children must be 5 on or before June 18, 2018, to be able to participate.) Please encourage your friends and neighbors to register their children for this transforming week. Information and registration will be on our Seek the City webpage, so look for it soon!

Missionaries
of the Week
Our April Missionaries of the Week are based in the US.
Week of April 22

Ashley Johnson
Campus Outreach
Lynchburg, VA

Ashley is serving on staff with Campus Outreach at Liberty University.  She is helping to build laborers for the lost world.

Pray for the junior and senior girls in her discipleship group to get a vision for evangelism and discipleship and begin their own groups. Pray for a new discipleship group she is starting to be established in the faith and to have a heart for being spiritual leaders.  Pray that her relationship with God would constantly deepen.

Our Missionary of the Week is also posted on our News webpage. For information about all of our missionaries, go to our Missionaries webpage.
