Our wonderful Partner in Education,

From participating in fundraisers for sports teams, to playing a role in our School Advisory Council, to being a part of school events like open House. We are so thankful for their support, and look forward to continue working with them in the future!

Monday's Motivational Moment!
|
One CCHS Bear returned to his elementary school to say thank you before the end of the 2017-2018 school year!
Before going on summer break,
Dylan McKuhen (incoming Cypress Creek Class of 2019 senior) dropped by his former elementary school to recognize one special teacher who positively influenced him:
Mr. Charles Fritts of Palm Lake Elementary School (5th grade teacher).
Cypress Creek High School students like Dylan McKuehn and the administration greatly appreciate our teachers and hope they are enjoying a well earned summer break. You may not know this, but our teachers . . .
- Find ways to reach every kind of student.
- Work long, long hours totally dedicated to their kids.
- Work to discover students' passions for things they never knew they liked.
- Create opportunities not for just for a few, but for all.
- Do so much with so little - they can stretch a dollar a long way.
- May have to play roles beyond educator: mother, father, nurse, mentor, confidant.
- Know that it is not always about having the right answer, but asking the right questions.
Some students have trouble reading. Some students get anxious when they have to stand and speak. Some face challenges that cannot be seen. And some students have come from a long way off and are just scared. Our teachers understand these things and are ready every day to give the students their best.
You see, adults are where they are today thanks in no small part due to their teachers. They make a difference in the world and are a big reason America is so blessed as a nation in the 21st century.
Thank you, Cypress Creek High School teachers on an
excellent job in 2017-2018!

Wishing you a successful week ahead!
