Congratulations to the  2019 Alumni Achievement Award Winners!
The Alumni Association selected four distinguished alumni to receive the Alumni Achievement Award, which honors those graduates who display great accomplishments in one or more of the following areas: professional achievement, community volunteer service, and humanitarian efforts. 

The winners will be honored during the upcoming Alumni Reunion at The Union League Golf Club at Torresdale on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Congratulations!

Last Call for Tigers on the Loose!
Wednesday, April 10
Join alumni and friends at the Museum of the American Revolution for our new annual scholarship celebration to raise critical funds for student financial aid. 

Tickets include a reception and open bar in the Museum's Liberty Hall and open-air terraces, as well as access to the Museum's exhibition galleries and special presentations of George Washington's War Tent. 

The last day to purchase tickets is Wednesday, April 3. 
Reunion 2019: Saturday, April 27
All alumni (regardless of class year) are invited to join us in celebrating the 2019 Reunion Classes (all classes ending in "4" and "9"), the Golden Alumni Society (Classes of 1958-1968), and the Class of 2018!

  • Holy Family's Alternative Spring Break 2019 For the past 13 years, Holy Family University has participated in Habitat for Humanity's Alternative Spring Break program, which provides college students with an opportunity to make the most of the short break that takes place in March. This year, 25 students and 4 faculty/staff chaperones from Holy Family traveled to Laredo, TX to work with the Laredo Habitat for Humanity to build decent, affordable homes for those in need. Read more about Holy Family's Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter...

  • Honors Symposium Showcases Student Research The Honors Program at Holy Family hosted its Honors Symposium on Friday, March 1. Each Honors Program student is required to work on a research project with a faculty mentor as part of the Honors Program requirements. This event is the culmination of that research experience, where the Honors Program juniors are presenting their research projects. Read more... 
  • Rosen Speaks at Mexican Senate Dr. Jonathan Rosen, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice in the School of Arts and Sciences, recently participated in a daylong event at the Mexican Senate where he spoke about the opioid epidemic in the United States. The Mexican Senate spent the day examining opioid production in Mexico, specifically Guerrero, a state located in the south of Mexico, that is a leader in producing opium. Read more...
  • Hope's Book Explores Important Poets Warren Hope, an adjunct professor for the School of Arts and Sciences, recently published A Movement of Minds, a collection of biographical sketches of important poets. The book was published by Greenwich Exchange Publishing.  Read more...
  • Pair of Professors Awarded Grant for Teaching Psychology Skills Dr. Alexa Bonacquisti and Dr. Patrick McElwaine 00 M'04, Assistant Professors in the Graduate Counseling Psychology program, were recently awarded a $1,500 Instructional Resource Award grant from the Society for Teaching of Psychology, a division of the American Psychological Association, to develop modules for teaching counseling skills. Read more...
     
  • CJMA Student Presents at ACJS Conference Kate Coffey, a graduate student in the Criminal Justice program, recently submitted and had her paper accepted by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS). Her presentation, entitled "The Effectiveness of Mentoring on Juvenile Delinquency", was presented on Saturday, March 30 at The ACJS 56th Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. Read more...

Holy Family Day at the Franklin Institute with Marvel Superheroes 
Saturday, June 8

The Alumni Association invites the entire Holy Family community to join us on Saturday, June 8 th at the Franklin Institute to visit the new  Marvel: Universe of Superheroes exhibit!

Adult Ticket (Ages 18+): $24  ( $13 off regular priced ticket )
Youth Ticket (Children 3-18): $18 ( $9 off regular priced ticket)
Children ages 2 and under are free.

Tickets MUST be purchased in advance to receive the discount. Tickets include 10:30 AM entrance to the  Marvel: Universe of Superheroes exhibit as well as general admission to the Franklin Institute for the rest of the day. Full price tickets will be available at the door, but do not guarantee access to the exhibit.
