The Fourth Sunday of Easter
April 22, 2018
"We invite everyone to share communion around God's altar.
We strive to be a welcoming and relevant Christian community doing what matters through prayer, worship, teaching, outreach, fellowship, and service.
We will demonstrate the real life application of scripture, tradition, and
reason by providing a safe place to respond to each other's needs,
hurts, joys, and interests."

Resurrection Vestry Elects Youth Representative
Sophie Alexander
I wanted to become a member of the Vestry because I am committed to creating a more impactful Christian experience for the youth of our parish. The youth of our world are not the future, they are the present, a point that has been demonstrated on a national scale very recently. As the youth are the now of the church, the country, and the world, I believe that we as a parish need to prioritize youth ministry to create a more compassionate society. I will be working with the Vestry as the Youth Representative to revitalize our youth programs and lay the foundation for the youth to come.

April 4th marks 50 years since the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Join the Sunday Christian Formation conversation, "3 Epistles on Race in America," as we explore contemporary racial relationships using writings that, while perhaps lesser known than King's famous "I have a dream" oratory, resonate powerfully today. The video curriculum includes speakers: New York City journalist Errol Louis, New York University professor and poet Fred Moten, and Trinity Church Wall Street Vicar, Phil Jackson. Hear their examinations of three civil rights era letters from Dr. King, James Baldwin, and Thomas Merton, and reflect with your church community.
