We received the following news from our India team a few days ago. PLEASE continue to pray for Priya and God's perfect plan over her life. Please also pray for the India team as they continue their work against human trafficking as well as sharing the Gospel.
Dear Kelly, Marie, Joan and brother Mark,
Greetings in the name of Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you so much for praying for Priya. She is now under CWC protection. Last week CWC called her mother from Delhi and they took both of them to police station first and then it took few days to clear up the case. Police are searching for Priya's father and her mother is in her village with her relatives. Priya is in CWC shelter home in Kuchbihar. Prayer is needed for Priya's safe delivery and settlement of her life.
On 17th we had one day youth seminar on Love, marriage and sex in Jhapa that went very well. There were 95 youth from different churches. They participated in discussions very actively. Pastors and youth leaders were very happy that many youth could come and listen this important topic which is not much addressed from the church pulpit.
Once again, thank you so much for your prayers. And futher prayer is needed as Homesh is continually working in Dooars. He has to follow up some more cases about trafficked children.
