Pamela Herzenberg has added to her extensive knowledge and experience with the following continuing education credits and certifications.



Pamela attended a conference which offered new research on...



Behavior change science 

* Identify affected behavior change techniques and therapies. 
* Understand the steps to successful motivation.

Agility and quickness for adult clients 

* Physiological benefits of training for traditional adult clients.
* Understand the variables involved in training traditional adult clients with agility ladder drills, and quickness drills.

Working with older adults health challenges that exercise can help
* Understanding current research on preventative and management of frailty and sarcopenia.


A few quick tips:

1. Muscular health and sarcopenia:
Sarcopenia, define as a loss of muscle mass and function, is considered one of the causes of frailty in older adult.

2. Practice balance every day. Try standing on one foot while you brush your teeth.

3. Increasing your quickness drills... For example, Partners shuffle back-and-forth laterally while throwing or bouncing a basketball back and forth to each other and changing patterns.

Santa Fe Century Training at El Gancho.
March 25, 2019 - May 13, 2019


El Gancho Cycling Classes taught by Jeff, Dora, Jan, KIm, Hugh, and Enita will cover topics preparing cyclists for the annual Santa Fe Century. Cyclists can also cross train using other fitness classes to get fit.

Mixed 18 & Over Important Dates
Team registration period will remain open until  April 26
The season will start on  May 27 and run thru  July 9  
Local League playoffs will be  July 13 & 14
Mixed Sectionals will be in  Tucson, AZ Sept 27 - 29
