Apply for Leadership for Five Seasons by April 30
|
Applications are currently open for the
Leadership For Five Seasons
(LFS) Class of 2020, a program of the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance. I have had the privilege to be a member of the LFS Class of 2019, and I want to encourage you to consider applying for the Class of 2020.
Here's what I've experienced in LFS:
- In-depth learning about my community.
- Exploring my leadership skills: my strengths and areas of improvement.
- Personal growth and goal-setting.
- A group of new friends who are cheering for me.
- Identifying and implementing a community service project.
- Fun, laughs, connections, and memories.
The photo is our class at the Trivia Night event which raised money for our class community service project in May for Willis Dady Homeless Services.
There is a cost associated with the program and a time commitment. For the first time, the program is offering a scholarship to one person from a small business, nonprofit with limited resources, or self-employed individual.
Applications
are due on April 30, 2019.
If you'd like to talk to me about my experience, please get in touch!
