Letter from the President
Welcome to 2019 TTT!

Wow, what a way to kick off 2019! Everyone who came out to our first meeting of the year with Breakthrough Nutrition and Chef G had a great time learning and cooking, and helped turn it into our most attended month meeting ever! And welcome to all of the new members that came out to join us as well!

As we move into race season this year, I'd like to bring up something that went around on Facebook and I'm really excited about this year. We're in a position this year to have a serious shot at taking home the Trivium Racing Club Cup for 2019, and I would love to see us make a run (and bike and swim) at it. But we can't do it without your help! When you signup for any Trivium Racing race this year, multisport or running, please be sure to signup with a club! We are also aware that we have many members who are parts of multiple local clubs, and you are more than welcome to put down another club as long as you put down something! It seems like last year we had a lot of people who didn't signup with any club last year, and we left a lot of points in that Club Cup race on the table. Let's go for it this year! If you need instructions on how to sign up for a club with your race registration, check the Facebook group or ask on the Facebook group!

Speaking of signing up for races our first race of the 2019 TTT Race Series, the Northeast Duathlon, is coming up on February 23! The weather has been nasty for training lately, but things are looking up for the next weekend or two. Keep your eyes on the Facebook group for potential weekend training opportunities to ride and run the course and give yourself an edge on race day. Training events are open to members and non-members alike, just come out and join us! And don't forget to come by the table on race day and sign in to get your TTT Race Series points!

See you at the NEDU!

ATHLETE OF THE MONTH
JASON DUNCAN
Meet Jason!
Jason claims to be new to triathlon, however is not shying away from making big strides in the sport. He took on the challenge of Williamsburg 70.3 last year and is setting his sights on Chattanooga 140.6 this coming September.
Jason's training tip is, "practice your weakness" and for racing, "take more nutrition than you think you will need".
Read more about his story by clicking below.
If you see Jason, tell him congratulations on being our TTT Athlete of the Month!
