Hiring ArtSparks/ArtReach Coordinator position
 
The ArtSparks and ArtReach Coordinator is a part-time position that coordinates the school based art literacy program working with volunteers and paid staff to deliver art education programs directly to students in general education, pre-school and special education classrooms in Allen ISD, as well as Homeschool students. The ArtReach program is an initiative to make arts accessible to everyone in the community, and the Coordinator works with community organizations, schools and other volunteer groups to provide enrichment and engagement opportunities for all.

The exhibit will showcase the talent of our local art teachers from Allen ISD, Lovejoy ISD and also Collin College.
 

Fluid Painting Workshop 
Sunday, June 24, 2-4pm @ Blue House Too
Fee $55 for two paintings

The workshop will cover the basics of Acrylic fluid painting, materials and technique, demonstration of control methods to create a nice composition.

Hear the real story of Bonnie and Clyde from Clyde Barrow's nephew Buddy Barrow and historian Charles Heard. Dallas native, Buddy Barrow, will share stories of his infamous uncle that he heard from his family since childhood.  Charles Heard is a historian, author, and co-founder of the Bonnie and Clyde Ambush Museum in Gibsland, Louisiana.

The Allen Heritage Guild maintains the Depot Museum as a repository of historic materials associated with the development of Allen. The public is invited to see and use the printed materials while visiting the museum.

Artist will explore the history of self portraits and create a number of self portraits using a variety of materials: paint, charcoal, oil pastels and more. More Information and Registration
 
July 30-Aug 3: Dinosaur Animatronics Camp
@ Allen Heritage Depot Museum, 9 am - noon
Fee $75

L earn how to operate a life-sized dinosaur animatronic unit and get a glimpse into how animatronic dinosaur exhibits are created for museums and zoos. More Information and Registration
