Hunger Banquet
As part of our Lenten Wednesdays, FPC will be hosting a Hunger Banquet this Wednesday, April 3. Since 1974, Oxfam has been working with volunteers to create awareness of hunger. This event will help ALL ages explore our local hunger issues. Upon arrival you will receive a ticket that will randomly assign you as a low, middle, or high, income wage earner. This will determine where you sit and your meal. It will be at the parent’s discretion if a child receives their own ticket or stays with a parent. (Nursery available for 3 and under beginning at 6:00 p.m.)

A special part of Senior Recognition Sunday is presenting each senior with a Bible signed by our community of faith. Bibles will be in Wilson Hall the rest of the week and on Sunday. Please take time to sign them for each senior. It will be a wonderful gift for them for years to come to look back on all the messages.

Senior Recognition Sunday
This Sunday, April 7th

We are looking forward to celebrating our high school seniors. What is your connection to this group of seniors? Did you teach them in Sunday School, serve as a Covenant Partner, participate in youth events together, or know their family? We invite you, the whole congregation, to join us for the Senior Recognition Luncheon following the 11:00 a.m. service on April 7th. The cost is $10 per person ($30 max for the family). Congregational Meeting
A congregational meeting has been called for April 7 at the conclusion of both services of worship. The meeting is called to hear the annual report of the congregation and corporation.

April 14 - Mary Sellers Shaw Installation
On April 14 in both services Mary Sellers Shaw will be installed by a commission of the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee as our Associate Pastor. We encourage everyone to be present for this day of celebration.
|
|
There will be a reception for both Mary Sellers Shaw and Anne Keener at 10:30 that morning in Wilson Hall. We will honor both of them on the recent ordination and installation of Mary Sellers Shaw and on Anne Keener being named as Commissioned Pastor for our church by the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee.
We look forward to this day with great joy.
