Both Sharks and Dolphins have earned Mismatch Day!
Wednesday, April 3 is Mismatch Day for the K - 6th. Students may dress in clothes that clash. Other ideas include wearing shoes that do not match or sport a shirt with one arm cut shorter than the other. Keep in mind that this is not a free dress day or crazy hair day. Please follow the school dress code including the following guidelines.
  • Students should not wear tank tops, spaghetti straps, or anything inappropriately revealing.
  • Shoes must have hard soles, have a back and covered toe, and heels may be no higher than 2 inches.
  • No cleats, Heelys or flip-flops.
Thank you everyone who raised money gave a solid start to Student Council's fundraiser. CCA Student Council with helping kids with cancer and the doctors and scientists who are researching a cure get funding to do so. Together, we raised $657.34 in the first week.

Student Council's goal is to raise $4,000. If Student Council reaches that goal, there will be a pretty epic all school event at the end of the year.

The class who raises the most money will get a free lunch from Olive Garden and a Pennies for Patients Swag Bag! Mr. Gunning's class is in the lead with $91.21 raised so far.

If Student Council exceeds their $4,000 goal, all CCA students will get a free dress day!

6th Annual Fun Run
Friday, May 3
The 6th Annual CCA Fun Run is bringing some great changes coming this year! The CCA Foundation has brought an organization called “Boosterathon” to coordinate the entire event. Boosterathon does a tremendous job, and with their energy and fundraising tools, it will be an awesome day!

Parents of grades K-4, plan on your kids running between 8:30 and 9:30, and parents of grades 5-8, your students will be on the field from 9:45-10:45. There will be two “tracks” to run on, and lots of Boosterathon staff to help. They’re very experienced with these events so it’s organized and not chaotic.
