Katie joined Aurora's Vision 1505 as an intern in January 2018. She was hired as the Community Engagement Specialist in February and became a Case Manager in June. She graduated with a Bachelor's in social work from USI in April of this year. Prior to Aurora, she worked at SIRS, serving adults with mental and physical disabilities and most recently worked at a daycare. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her pets and husband, camping traveling anywhere with friends and family. Working with families to link them to resources and keep them housed is something she's very proud of to be a part of in the community.
