 Summer Fun!
Ride the Olympic Discovery Trail

Bring your bikes, or rent from the local bicycle shop and ride the Olympic Discovery Trail, a non-motorized trail that runs from Port Townsend out to the Pacific Ocean with one of the largest paved sections running through Sequim.  A popular route is to start at the Blyn trailhead and travel west into Sequim and to the Railroad Bridge Park.

Railroad Bridge Park

Featuring the historic railroad trestle, you'll discover the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society at Railroad Bridge Park.  They have an interpretive center where you can learn all about local wildlife.  Join them on a Wednesday morning for a free Bird Walk through the park.

Museum and Arts Center

Visit the Museum and Arts Center in Downtown Sequim. Enjoy the exhibit on Olympic Gold Medalist and Sequim native Joe Rantz from the best-selling book Boys in the Boat.  Always popular with kids is the exhibit featuring the Manis Mastodon.

Carrie Blake Community Park

Have a picnic at Carrie Blake Community Park - This is Sequim's largest park and is a popular gathering place for families. The park has playground equipment, a pond where kids under 14 can fish for trout, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and free concerts on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer.

Olympic Game Farm

Get face to face with wildlife at the Olympic Game Farm. This drive-through farm is famous for waving Kodiak bears and llamas eating bread from your car window. The farm worked exclusively with Walt Disney Studios for 28 years and was a filming location for several nature based films including "Charlie the Lonesome Cougar" and the "Grizzly Adams" series. The farm continues to be a refuge for retired animal actors and animals in need. Olympic Game Farm
