The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and its Justice for Immigrants Campaign (JFI) are urging Catholics to contact their U.S. Representatives immediately to express opposition to the two immigration bills being considered today by the House of Representatives,
H.R. 4760

Securing America's Future Act of 2018)
and H.R. 6136
(
Border Security and Immigration Reform Act of 2018
).

Even if these bills don't pass, the debate on immigration will continue and Catholics are encouraged to review the USCCB/JFI materials to better understand the issues at stake.
