Happy April!

It is hard to believe we are in the month of April! How are you doing with your Lenten discipline? Did you give something up or take up a new practice in your life? Did you not start something on Ash Wednesday? That is ok. You have time to give something up or start something new. A great and easy discipline for adults is to join us for the Lenten Noon Eucharist. It is a quick and very meaningful service in the historic church. The service lasts only 30 minutes. I really encourage you to come join us. It is a perfect way to strengthen your relationship with God during the Lent season.

We invite everyone in the parish to join us for Intergenerational Stations of the Cross on Sunday, April 14, 9:30 - 10:15 PM. This event will be in place of Sunday School. You and your 3K - 5th grade children will walk with a group through fourteen stations. Each station will have a hands-on activity and a token for you to take home to be able to reenact the stations. This is a perfect activity on Palm Sunday for you to learn about the Stations of the Cross and to meet new parishioners at our church. Hope to see you and your family for this event!

We encourage the children and adults to bring flowers to decorate the cross on Easter Sunday. The cross will be in the circle drive way between the chapel and the church. Children's Church will occur during the 9:00 AM Historic Church service.

Song of the Month

I'm A Daffodil (sung to the tune of Little Teapot)
I'm a little bulb growing in the ground. (Stand still.)
Here are my roots going down, down, down. (Slowly sink to the floor.)
Up, up, up, goes my stem until - (Raise arms up slowly.)
Pop goes my bud. I'm a daffodil! (Clap hands on "pop.")
