March Recognition for Coldwell Banker-Holloway
Jody Holloway opened the doors at Coldwell Banker in September 2009. Holloway received his auction license in 1976 as a Junior in High School. The first year out of High School in 1977, Holloway received his Real Estate License and worked his way through college.
The independent office of Coldwell Banker-Holloway has been the number 1 office in market share in the area since 2010, according to UPSTAR MLS stats. Holloway gives a lot of credit to the brand name of Coldwell Banker and his talented agents.
“We treat everybody with the respect they deserve,” explained Holloway. “Whether we are working with a high-end or low-end buyer or seller, we treat people the same. We are just as happy to work for either client and deliver the same type of service for everyone.”
Being recognized as the Member of the Month is humbling for Holloway. “I am just grateful and very honored, and I think for the first time, I am speechless,” laughed Holloway.

Sheriff’s Department Receives Funds for Training
Michael Vanover, owner of Clean Fuels National and Lockout Jujutsu, has been involved in martial arts and firearms for over 36 years. Vanover has worked with, instructed, and trained with several law enforcement agencies and provides ongoing professional instruction for firearms courses and instruction.
In conjunction with the Vanover and the Wells County Chamber of Commerce, a Home Security seminar was held on February 13, 2019 at the Arts, Commerce & Visitors Centre in Bluffton to educate community members about home invasions, security specialists, and protecting your family. A portion of the funds from the Home Security Seminar were donated to the Wells County Sheriff’s Department.
A check for $400 from Michael Vanover and his son, Taylor Vanover was presented on Monday, March 11, 2019 to Scott Holliday with the Wells County Sheriff’s Department.
“We can never get enough money for training and equipment, so this is very helpful,” said Holliday. “Training is essential to our officers so the citizens of Wells County can be kept safe. Our deputies are faced with life-threatening situations and they need to make split second decisions. The training allows the officers to make real-life psychological decisions under stress. It is the mental aspect and quick decision-making people don’t think about that is very important for the officers to have through training.”
