We Become What We Love

We Become What We Love
Presented by: Reverend Michael Moran
Synopsis: In your brief time here, what qualities do you wish to cultivate and express? In his bestselling book,  THE WISE HEART , author, psychologist, and practicing Buddhist-Jack Kornfield asks this question: "If [you] were to set the compass of [your] heart toward a north star for this life, what would it be?" This Sunday, Reverend Michael Moran presents a lesson about living life intentionally with clarity and purpose instead of "accidentally".

"The rain began again. It fell heavily, easily, with no meaning or intention but the fulfilment of its own nature, which was to fall and fall."  -  Helen Garner

With music by: Patsy Cameron with Dale Young

Facility Rental

Please keep Unity in mind when you are planning your events. Our facility is well suited for weddings and memorial services as well as meetings and events.

Heart to Heart In-Reach

Our in-reach team is looking for volunteers to serve our internal Unity community. This ministry provides rides, food, and other assistance for various life events. A sign-up sheet is in the hallway or call Sandy Kaplan at  208-964-4084 if you can help .
Summer Volunteer Opportunities

There are numerous ways that you can show your support for Unity this summer. For example, you can help teach or assist with our Youth Ed program one Sunday a month. Another way to serve is to work in the office once a week during business hours. Jerilyn needs individuals with office skills to help things run smoothly. Or, if you are the independent type, adopt our outdoor flowering plants for the summer. They need watering and occasional attention to look their best. There is also an opportunity to coordinate our themed basket fundraiser . And finally, there is a list of beautification projects in the hallway for those who wish to take on a specific task. Regardless of whether you donate time, talent, or treasure, your contribution is
appreciated. See Jerilyn if you can help
.
Visioning Team Affirmation

As a spiritual community, we are in an exciting transitional period of leadership. Your Board of Trustees and Visioning Team invite you to recite this prayer in affirmation of our shared vision. Thank you.

"Unity Spiritual Center is a dynamic, prosperous and  Spirit-led ministry, which is attracting to it the perfectly  qualified minister to lead us to our next level of service  and sacred community. The minister we are attracting,  is also seeking us with the same enthusiasm, desire  and passion. We confidently embrace this time of
opportunity and give thanks knowing that our prayer  is answered. We are filled with wonder, joy, and  gratitude. Thank you, God. Amen."
