Join us for Shabbat Services with Guest Preachers Revs. William Barber II and Liz Theoharis, leaders of the Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival. We'll be hosting these inspirational leaders along with friends from the Religious Action Center led by Rabbi Jonah Pesner and activists from the Greater Washington Area. Our service will be elevated by the participation of musicians Stacy Beyer and Peri Smilow, featured on the new Social Justice album Together as One.  A catered dinner will follow services. Temple Sinai Women of Reform Judaism has taken up the Reform Jewish movement's call to enhance voter registration and voter turnout in our congregation. We will hold our first TSWRJ Civic Engagement Campaign committee meeting on Sunday, June 24 at 4 pm at Rita Brickman's home (See member directory)  We will meet each other, discuss how the RAC's voter engagement campaign ideas could be applied in our congregation, and plan our next steps.  RSVP.

Shabbat Service

Join us for services featuring a sermon from Rabbi Emeritus Fred N. Reiner: "Trouble at the Borders-and Within." Rabbi Reiner will share parts of a sermon he gave in June, 1968, and compare those times to the current immigration crisis.

Services will be preceded by a Prozdor (appetizers) at 6 PM.

StoryQuest Project: WWII Memories Wanted
The Temple Sinai Archives Committee has received a request for congregants who have memories of World War II to participate in an Oral History Project sponsored by Washington College.
