As we wrap up fundraising for the 2018 fiscal year that ended June 30, we're celebrating a great year for vehicle donations! KGOU accepts donations of cars, trucks, RVs, motorcycles, boats and more -- in running order or not -- and for FY18 those donations totaled more than $52,000, a 47 percent increase over the previous year. Thank you, listeners! Stay tuned for more about total fundraising efforts for the year -- we're still counting.

CD Giveaway ~ The Capitol Steps 'Make America Grin Again'
album cover
The Capitol Steps' newest album, Make America Grin Again, is hot off the presses and made in America (so it's tariff-free). It's amazing. It's huge. It's fabulous. It has nothing to do with Russia. Or Putin. Hear the "hits" from Donald Trump and Don Jr., Jeff Sessions, Mike Pence, Paul Ryan (and even some Democrats. SAD!!!) as they make musical parody great again. Enter our drawing for a chance to win a copy of your very own!

And don't miss your chance to see the Steps live on stage at Oklahoma City Community College on Thursday, Aug. 23!

Congratulations to our winners!
In our last issue we gave away copies of the new 3-CD set of Sinatra standards, Standing Room Only. Our winners are Robin, Kathy, RoseMarie, Marlene, and Rebecca.
