Ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Costa Rica, Guatemala, & Nicaragua with Praying Pelican Missions, networking with local churches and connecting mission teams to  life- changing ministry opportunities.
So many amazing things happened this past month that we thought it would be best to share the entire month in photos!
We are soaking up every single moment with our friends in Costa Rica as our departure gets closer.
Nate led a trip in Nicaragua ( you can view the Trip Journal here ) and ended the week by helping to lead Nicaragua's first PPM Pastor's Conference for 60 pastors and ministry leaders.
Reagan turned 13 years old and celebrated with friends from her school.
Both Abigail and Reagan had their last day of school in Costa Rica.  When we return to Costa Rica they will be traveling and serving on trips with our teams while Malachi and Isaiah finish up the semester of school.
April 19th we flew to Florida with a load of suitcases to leave in storage in preparation for our big move.  We spent our first few days with friends that treated us like kings and queens in their beautiful Florida home!
Our role will be changing soon, but our needs only become greater as our influence expands.  To support us on a monthly basis, go to
Nate preached at the PPM Borderless Conference about how we are all in a race and need to continually pass the baton of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
A week of PPM Meetings in Florida means time to get to know fellow staff by seeing how many people can fit in a hotel room with 11 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts.
Darrell attended PPM's Borderless Conference to be trained to serve in Memphis and Chicago this summer!
PPM is transitioning three missionary families back to the USA this summer.  We were blessed to be prayed over and affirmed by our Costa Rica staff.
200 Pelicans were trained, equipped, and commissioned to serve all over the world this summer!  Can you find us?
While Nate & Laura were in meetings for a week, Papa Bob & Grandma Shelley kept the kids busy by making some fun memories!
We love being part of an organization where co-workers are like family!
As part of Nate's new role in leading our Full-Time International Staff, Nate led a training session with the staff that were in attendance from Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, and Belize.
Praise Reports & Prayer Requests
  • We are all still in Florida figuring out what life will be like with our permanent move.  We fly back to Costa Rica May 22nd, just in time to launch our summer season of mission trips.
  • Nate will be going to Guatemala to train staff and meet with some of our ministry partners June 1-5.
  • We will make our permanent move to Coral Springs, FL August 7th.
  • Praise God! We are closer to having a home secured for us and were able to get a tour of the Charter school that all four children will be attending in Coral Springs, FL.
  • Please keep our family in your prayers as this move is becoming more real each day.  We have a lot of changes ahead of us!
