Ground broken for new medical education facility

Ground has been broken at the site for our planned new $65 million medical education facility in Athens, which will anchor the university's future Union Street Green. The new facility will feature custom-built learning spaces; allow our faculty, staff and students to work more collaboratively; and improve our research and community outreach efforts. To keep up with the latest developments on this exciting project, visit its website . Coming soon: a time-lapse video of the project's progress. Funding for the new facility comes from multiple sources including $12 million generously provided by the  Osteopathic Heritage Foundation as part of the OHF Vision 2020 grant.
