Arbor Day: April 27, 2018
On Arbor Day (April 27) 10 little artists and poets took home flowering crab apple trees thanks to Gali's Florist and Garden Center. Now in its sixth year, the Library and the City's Tree Advisory Board Poster and PoeTREE Contest is made possible through the dedication of City Councilwoman Nancy Moore. Pictured are Mayor David Weiss and Dr. Reid Coffman with this year's Arbor Day winners.
Ask the Tech Trainer
Get personal, one-on-one help from the Library's technology trainer with Microsoft Office, Windows, social media, internet searching and more. Use the library's computers or bring your own portable device. Drop in on a first-come, first-served basis from 2-4 pm Saturday, May 5 and May 19 at Main Library and get answers to your tough tech questions.
Bike Locks Available
Forgot your bike lock? Don’t have one? No worries! The Library has bike locks available at the Circulation Desk.The bike lock lending program offers those who forgot their locks a way to keep them secure while visiting the library.
Art Exposed IX at Main Library: May 11 - May 23, 2018
The Gallery-Opening Reception for Art Exposed IX: The Inner Workings of an Art Department will be held from 6:30-8:30 PM Friday, May 11 on the Main Library second floor.

The exhibit will be on display through May 23. Be sure to stop by to see the depth and breadth of the Shaker Heights High School and Middle School Art Departments.
