A Creative Compact: Harwich Cultural Center leads to alliance with state
The conversion of an abandoned school building in Harwich into a cultural center has attracted the interest of local artists as well as state officials who see it as possible test case for arts-based economic growth that other towns can follow.

from 15 countries to New England
Discover New England, a nonprofit organization that promotes the region's tourism offerings internationally, will host tour operators from 15 countries at its 23 rd  Annual Tourism Summit and International Marketplace this month. The Hanover Crossing Project adds a Housing Component to the Redevelopment Plan
Hanover Mall, soon to be known as Hanover Crossing, has added a housing component to its redevelopment plan and is hosting a meeting for Hanover residents to learn about the development at the Hanover Mall in the former JC Penney space on Thursday, April 26, from 6:30-8 pm.  PREP, owners of The Hanover Mall, will update everyone on the status of the retail redevelopment as well as have representatives from the Hanover Company to speak about the proposed residential component .   Read more here.
