Video Highlights Dangers of Distracted Driving
The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning (OHSP) is highlighting the state's efforts during Distracted Driving Awareness Month. In addition, the OHSP has produced a video titled  " Sam's Journey: The Dangers of Distracted Driving." Sam's message is powerful and impactful. Please watch this with you students.

In Michigan in 2016, drivers 20 years old and younger accounted for 18 percent of crashes involving a cell phone. And in 2015, across the United States, 8 percent of people who were killed in distracted driving crashes were teens between 15 and 19 years old. Please help us get the word out on the dangers of distracted driving.
