Welcome!

First, I'd like to welcome a new member to the Quietfire Design Team!  Katelyn Grosart, with her unique mixed media style, has joined us!
Katelyn pops up in lots of places, so for a long time I couldn't figure out who she "belonged to"!  Clearly she's her own woman!  Currently Katelyn is on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Design Team and also works along with Kim Evans at Emerald Creek. She is alumni on the Graphic 45 Design Team.  You can see more of Katelyn's work on her blog: https://katelyngrosart.blogspot.com/

Katelyn lives in beautiful Duncan, BC with her boyfriend. She's spent the last 7 years in the papercrafting world creating cards, mixed media pages, scrapbook l ayouts, mini albums and altered items. In her spare time, when not crafting, she likes to read a good book.  When the weather is nice, you'll often find her outside taking advantage of the beautiful Canadian weather.

Click on the tag image to see her tutorial for her first project for us!  Thanks Katelyn!
Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes after my husband broke (shattered) his wrist while we were on vacation in Hawaii.  No, he did not slip on the pool deck with a fruity drink in his hand!  We were climbing the Koko Head Railway Trail and it was just a bad step on tiny dusty gravel and he flew.  Three weeks later, I'd still love to find the family who was so helpful during the ordeal (long line under a helicopter off the crater after dark....) who I believe live in Mililani.  I really didn't thank them properly and would love that opportunity!

Panorama photo from about 800 feet up.  That's Hanauma Bay on the left and way off in the distance is the backside of Diamond Head on the right.  Fabulous views, but the trip down for some people isn't what they expected.....

When Robyn suggested t his quote, I had such a laugh.  Inspiring and encouraging quotes are my lifeblood and this quote kinda puts them in their place and changes their priority.  I'm sitting here with my first cup of coffee of the day - I was a late inductee to loving coffee, but now it's the gas that gets my engine going each day!

Since we celebrated the new stamps last week, this weekend it's time to celebrate Encouragement (and Inspiration)!

All stamps in the Encouragement
