This is Principal Black with a reminder to parents and students about this week's testing. I also would like to encourage our grade 3-5 students, as they prepare to demonstrate their intelligence and readiness on the 2019 Spring Florida State Assessment(s).

Parents, it is imperative that students arrive at school on time. We are asking all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students to please be sure to come to school on time. Students are permitted onto the campus as early as 7:45 a.m. and should arrive prior to 8:15 a.m. Breakfast is available for all students each morning.

Students, be sure to remain focused and to utilize the strategies and skills your teacher has taught you. The test is timed and a clock will be visible for you to monitor and pace yourself.

Testing Window:

* 3rd Grade FSA ELA- Session 1 -  Tuesday, April 2, 2019

* 3rd Grade FSA ELA- Session 2 - Wednesday, April 3, 2019

* 4th & 5th Grade FSA Writing - Tuesday, April 2, 2019

And a final reminder for our young Tigers as they prepare to test on Tuesday . . .

You have done the work. Your teachers have you prepared. Get plenty of sleep tonight and please eat a healthy breakfast either at home or at school tomorrow morning. Most importantly, do not be late to school. These three actions will give you an edge. I want you to earn the test scores you are capable of and deserve.

In Tiger Pride,

Mrs. Lakeitha Black

Proud Principal
