From the Deacon
W e live in a time when many of our friends, co-workers and family have turned away from faith. We may know adults who've never attended a church service or faith service of any kind. May we be a beacon of light for those who have lost their way and for those who are struggling to find their way.
A wise person once wrote: "Sometimes it may seem to us that there is no purpose in our lives, that going day after day for years to the office, or wherever, is nothing else but waste and weariness. But it may be that God has sent us there because, but for us, Christ would not be there. If our being there means that Christ is there, that alone makes it worthwhile."
       Welcome to St Stephen's.
        See you in church!

Summer Choir begins this Sunday

Summer Sundays
Do you read music (even a little bit) and like to sing? Are you interested in singing with the choir, but are not able to commit to regular rehearsals during the year? Well, here's your chance! Every Sunday from this Sunday, 17th June until 5th August , we will have a "pick-up" group singing in the loft. All you need to do is show up at 9a on Sundays that you are here and John Hirten will give you the music for that morning's service. Then you will join some of the choir members who will also be there to sing at the service. If you have questions, please call John at 415.435.4501 x17.
