We want YOU to join a very exclusive club as a member of our Special Task Force. Your mission, should you chose to accept: Mission Possible: Monkey Retirement. We need 20 volunteers who are willing to commit to volunteer for 10 hours a week for 4 weeks.

Assignment: Change the lives of  26 retired laboratory monkeys
When: ASAP

We have 26 monkeys waiting to be released into their new "Almost Wild" habitats. Why are these monkeys so unique? Their retirement from research was the FIRST TIME EVER the FDA has retired monkeys after studies! You may have read about this extraordinary event or have seen the CNN news story about these 26 monkeys. We need YOU to help us complete the construction of
naturalistic habitats for these special monkeys.

These are some of the valuable activities you will perform in order to achieve your objective: Saving Monkeys and Promoting Compassion:
  • Tile setting
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical 
  • Planting/Landscaping
  • Erect indoor enclosures
  • Set up panels for outdoor habitats
  • Decorate and enrich indoor enclosures and outdoor habitats

Volunteers are integral to the work at the sanctuary, and make our work possible.
