Friends Overflow Booksale!


The Friends of the Moline Public Library Foundation will host a community book sale Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13. The Friends have an especially large collection of books due the generosity of two large estates. 
 
Mark your calendars; you won't want to miss this sale!  All books just $.25.  Any remaining books will be available free to educators beginning at 2 pm on Saturday.

Becoming American: A Documentary Film and Discussion Series on Our Immigration Experience is a project of City Lore in collaboration with the Immigration and Ethnic History Society and the International Coalition of the Sites of Conscience.  The project has been made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities:  "Exploring the Human Endeavor."
