What could be more fun?
So make your plans now for Cows & Classics, the Stratford Symphony Orchestra's annual summer music celebration and fundraiser on Sunday, June 24, at the David and Annamarie Murray farm west of Stratford.
The music will include:
A quartet of SSO horn players (Andrew MacDonald, Randi
Chloe
Patterson, Tony Snyder, Devon Martene) performing Heinrich Hubler's Concerto for Four Horns in F, plus other selections
Chloe Weir, who will sing three humorous songs, plus a classical selection. Chloe just last month won the open voice category at the provincial music festival competition. She was also the national open musical theatre champion in 2017.
Maddox
Maddox Keller, a 15-year-old singer and a regular performer at the Mitchell Music Festival and the Kiwanis Festival of the Performing Arts in Stratford for the past eight years. He will sing three musical theatre numbers.
Tony White, an actor and performer, who will "croon" some familiar tunes
Tickets ($20) are available at the event, as well as on the SSO website and at Blowes Stationery and Fanfare Books in Stratford. The event begins at 1:30 p.m.

To reach the Murray farm from Stratford, drive west on Highway 8 toward Mitchell. Turn left on Road 155 and proceed to 3844.
