THE SPARK
Highlighting outstanding donor and volunteer impact
throughout Center For Family Services.

The Power of Music
Thank you to The Conservatory of Musical Arts for your thoughtful donation of a "Music Together" class for the mom's and their children living in our Mother Child program.

Music is truly amazing and your class provided an opportunity for singing, dancing and playing instruments. It was enriching and fun experience for our moms. We can't wait to welcome you back!
Moving Forward
Earlier this month, one of our young adults, Michael, graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute's Automotive Technology program. Michael's tuition scholarship - made possible through the generous employees at The Wyanoke Group who contribute to a special fund at Center For Family Services - paved the way for this success. Thank you to everyone at the Wyanoke Group for providing an opportunity for Michael to create a career path for himself.
Think Globally,
Act Locally
We are so grateful to our friends at Xylem, Inc. who, in honor of International Women's Day, decided to turn their focus to our very own South Jersey community. The team, led by Jeanne Spinner, collected hundreds of dollars' worth of toiletries, diapers, and feminine hygiene products to donate to the moms and families in our SERV and Mother Child programs.
                    Join Our Family!
You're invited to join a group of special supporters by giving monthly. By making a monthly donation, you broaden the scope of your impact and improve the lives of so many people in need in our community. Your ongoing, steady support will provide resources for individuals seeking recovery, homeless teenagers in need of a safe place to live, and families in crisis to find stability.

The need for our services has never been greater. Will you join us?

To sign up for monthly giving, visit https://www.centerffs.org/get-involved/donate and choose "Monthly donation."

Thank you to Beneficial Bank for your corporate sponsorship and for the grant from the Beneficial Foundation to provide job readiness training, career development, and leadership opportunities for formerly homeless youth, putting them on a path to employment. Thank you for providing opportunities for success for our young adults. We appreciate your investment in this important work!
Funding from the Hatch Memorial Assistance Fund provides direct support to families caring for a child with a medical issue or a disability. Thanks to this important funding, many families are receiving support, including a mom and her two-year old daughter who received a toddler bed. The bed opened additional space for play, and thanks to the new bed, the little girl is now fully potty-trained and sleeping independently.
Two Revitalizing Renovations
We are amazed by the work of our friends at Simply Staged - Mindy Del Duca and RoseAnn Casey. Thank you for combining your amazing style and expertise in the staging business with your generous donations to completely refurnish two homes of participants in our work force development programs.  Your generosity, and the generosity of your friends, family, and clients who also donated, is truly inspiring.
A "Hoppy" Easter Thanks
to You!
Some "bunny" had an extra special Easter thanks to one incredible donor! Thank you Brianne Cramp for mobilizing friends, family, and Thirty-One gift customers to donate 18 Easter baskets to the children living in two of our safe homes.  Your generosity brought so much happiness to these little ones as we work with them and their mothers!  Thank you!
Sharing Strength
Thank you Ren Cicalese! Thank you for taking the time to share your story of adversity and perseverance with our young adults. They were impressed with your presentation and were proud to be able to spend time with you on the one-to-one sessions. We are grateful for your involvement and hope to welcome you for another session with our young adults.
A Gift of Self
Thank you to State Farm volunteer, Teanice Wells. We appreciate your participation as a volunteer at the Promise Neighborhood Hope Mobile monthly food distribution. We also want to thank you for reading with our preschool kiddos on a weekly basis. Thank you for all you do!
Living United
Thank you to United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey for your investment in the Camden Promise Neighborhood. Your funding for Born to Read supports literacy gains, increased exposure to books, parental involve ment, high attendance, and academic gains during the summer months. Children's early learning experiences establish the foundation for future success. Thank you for increasing opportunities for children to thrive.
Continuing A Spirit of Service
Kayla Carroll and Andrea Yeash - thank you for your involvement in changing lives. We thank you for the many ways you make a positive impact in our community - from your service as a Quixote Quest Quarter Leader, to your Qaravana sponsorships of several children (which provide the children with weekend food packs), to your involvement on our Young Professionals Board of Ambassadors.  Thank you for all you do!
                Stand.Speak.Empower.
Thanks to everyone who has taken the Stand.Speak.Empower - Denim Day - pledge. Your voices and actions help to create a community where violence is not acceptable.  Help us continue to raise awareness and funds to support survivors - wear denim with a purpose, request awareness buttons, buy a t-shirt, and make a donation to support survivors.
