Provincial government invites feedback on Regional Government Review
The Ontario government is inviting feedback from the public on its Regional Government Review, which includes Halton Region and its associated municipalities.
In a press release issued by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing on Wednesday, March 13, the province said it would hold an online consultation that would be open to all people who live or work in the areas included in the review.
In February, Oakville Town Council unanimously passed a resolution endorsing the effectiveness of the current two-tier government in Halton and encouraged the province to provide opportunities for residents to share their thoughts.  Review the town's news release .
Have your say! The deadline to complete the province's online survey is April 23, 2019.
