Read, Sing, Play
Every Monday  at 10:30 am

Children birth to 5 years old are invited to join us Monday mornings at 10:30 am for story time fun. Directly following story time there will be a craft and open play. Stop in for books, songs, rhymes,  movement activities, and more! 

Bilingual Story Time
Every Tuesday at 10:30 am

Children birth to 5 years old are invited to join Ms. Margarita Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am for a bilingual story time. We will share stories, songs and more in English and Spanish. Following the story time there will be a craft and playgroup. 
Milk & Cookies
Every Wednesday at 4:00 pm

Children in K-2 are invited to join us for an 
after-school snack, story and activity every Wednesday at 
4:00 pm. Please call the Children's Room at 860-447-1411 x4 
if your child has any food allergies.

Tween Thursday
Every Thursday at 4:00 pm

Tweens in grades 3-6 are invited to join Miss Ty every Thursday at 4:00 pm! Every week there will be a snack and fun activity. Please call the Children's Room at 860-447-1411 x4

Creative Movement with Eastern CT Ballet
Thursday, March 15 at 10:30 am

For Ages 3 to 5 years old only

T he Eastern Connecticut Ballet is hosting a monthly 
Creative Movement program for children 3 to 5 years old. 
This program will be held at 10:30am on the third Thursday of 
every month.  This 45 minute program is an introduction to 
creative movement.  During class we will read a story and 
then do 35 minutes of movement around the theme. 
Children must sign up for this program, space is limited.

Homework Helpers
Mon., Wed. & Thurs.,  3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Tues.,  3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

There will be no tutors March 12 - 23

Children are invited to come meet with a student from 
Connecticut College to receive tutoring or homework help. 
Tutors are available on a first come, first served basis. 

Make & Take Craft
Saturday, March 3, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Come get crafty at the library! Stop by anytime between 
11:00 am and 1:00 pm to make a craft and take it home!  
No registration is required, all ages are welcome. 
This program will be held on the first Saturday of every month.

Read to a Therapy Dog
Saturday, March 3, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Come meet Ella, a therapy dog, and read her a story! Please call the Children's Room at 860-447-1411 x4 to sign up for a 15 minute time slot, space is limited.

Brick Builders
Saturday, March 10,  11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Love to build? Then join the Brick Builders! 
Children ages 5 to 12 years old can drop in anytime between 
11:00 am and 1:00 pm  to make their own LEGO® creation. 
The creations will be put on  display in the library until the  next meeting. 
This program will be held  on the second Saturday of every month.
Movie & Munchies
Saturday, March 17 at 11:00 am

Join us at 11:00 am for a family movie! All movies are rated G or PG and a snack will be provided for children. Parents are required to stay in the room with their child. Families are invited to bring in their own lunch or snacks. This program will be held on the third Saturday of every month.

Family Fun
Saturday, March 24,  11:00 am - 1:00 pm  

Children of all ages can drop-in anytime between 
11:00 am and 1:00 pm for some Family Fun! There will be activities for the whole family. This program is free, requires no registration, and will be held on the fourth Saturday of every month.

St. Patrick's Day Craft
Sunday, March 11
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Children can stop in the Children's Room between 
1:30 pm  and 3:00 pm to make a craft in honor of 
St. Patrick's Day. Children will be making a leprechaun craft. 
 
Easter Egg Hunt
Friday, March 23 at  10:30 am

For ages 2 - 5 years old 

Children 2 to 5 years old are invited to join us for an Easter egg hunt. We will listen to a story, make a craft and hunt for eggs around the Children's Room. 


Home School Workshop
Monday, March 26 at 12:30 pm

All families are invited to join Ms. Ty every fourth Monday of the month for a fun and educational program.  This class is open to grades 1 to 6, and all materials will be provided.

Games Galore
Saturday, March 31,  11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Stop by the Public Library of New London anytime between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm for Games Galore! An assortment of games will be available for children and families to play. 
There will be board games, card games, puzzles and more! 
No registration is required.
