Board of Directors Opportunity
The Prairie Central District Board of Directors always welcome community minded sport, culture and recreation enthusiasts to join them on the board. Up to eight directors serve two year terms and meet 5 times/year. At this time there is a vacancy for one director . If you are interested or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact a Director or the District office in Wynyard.

Congratulations to the town of  Lanigan  upon finishing as one of 3 finalists in the Kraft Heinz Project Play Competition . After raising monies from fundraisers and with donations from businesses and organizations, the local waterpark committee now adds the $25,000 from Kraft Heinz Project Play to its overall total. This will help them to continue moving forward to having the waterpark become a reality.

The Saskatchewan Index of Wellbeing report was released on October 10, 2019! The report uses data from 1994-2014 to measure how Saskatchewan compares to Canada across 8 interconnected domains of wellbeing. The report aims to spark new questions, provoke serious conversations and prompt new collaborations.
Heritage Saskatchewan and the Community Initiatives Fund have partnered to release this Canadian Index of Wellbeing Saskatchewan Report, as they are both organizations committed to improving the wellbeing of people in Saskatchewan.
