Alice Feeney is once again playing mind games with us and she does it oh so skillfully.
In my favorite genre of dark and twisty psychological mystery thrillers, Feeney is on my short list of "Definitely Must Read!"

Masterpiece on PBS, is launching a new version of All Creatures Great and Small in 2021. Life is completely different in a rural Yorkshire for newly licensed veterinarian city boy James Herriot. As he learns a new way of life, his admiration for the farmers and other members of the community grows stronger. Each chapter is a story in itself in this heartwarming book.

If you enjoyed this series when it originally debuted in the mid-90s into the early 2000s or even reread it more recently, this is the graphic novel reboot for you! Even if you did not grow up with The Animorphs books or watching the TV show, this is an amazing revival that will introduce middle grade readers to a great sci-fi/fantasy story. Basically, there is an alien invasion and a group of teens are given powers to morph into the animals that they touch. With great power comes great responsibility, though, and it is they who are now tasked with saving the world.
