- Mike preached at 11 ministry events in the first quarter with 5 more ministry events on the calendar (more to be booked in coming months-interested in booking?)
- There have been 18 public decisions of salvation, 5 who indicated a desire to trust in Jesus at a community event, and 7 public decisions of recommitment so far this year.
- Three of the 11 ministry events were at Open Door Christian Academy chapel. Mike preached a series of messages to approximately 120 teens (7th-12th grade) on biblical marriage and purity.
- Plans are underway for two potential international mission projects: one this summer and another this fall. More details next month.
- MOS weekly discipleship groups resumed in January of 2018 including: Gresham MOS - 20 men, Spokane MOS Connect - 16 men, Open Door MOS - 17 men, and Lake Bible MOS - 20 men (The two-year project with Lake Bible will be completed in May of 2018). There is a total of 73 men who are being equipped each month.
- Mike is mentoring 2 young men who are actively involved in their first year or two of ministry. He is also teaching and discipling youth at Open Door Baptist Church on Wednesday nights. Debbie is involved in this discipleship, as well.
- There are 12 women in Debbie's weekly S.E.A.D.S. group, and she meets one-on-one with two ladies, currently. Debbie also disciples a group of ten young women (7th - 10th grades), weekly. This group is called B.R.I.G.H.T. Lights. Jordan and Michaela are among the girls who participate in this and are maturing so much in their faith.

Financial Update: Prayers and Support Needed
During the first quarter of this year, we experienced a short fall each month of about $708, income to expenses. This amount is almost equal to the monthly increase in cost of health insurance premiums for the Thibodeaux family. We are applying for entrance into a Christian insurance company. Please pray for God's favor that we would qualify and be accepted.
