NEFA's National Dance Project Announces Annual Production Grant Awards
The New England Foundation for the Arts has awarded $1,800,000 through the National Dance Project (NDP) to support the creation of 20 new dance works that will tour the United States. Grant-making is made possible with lead funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

New England Now to Strengthen Dance Community in the Region
New England Now is an intensive professional development opportunity for dance artists and cultural organizations. It will be the seventh dance lab from the National Dance Project's Regional Dance Development Initiative . The first of three informational sessions for regional dance makers will take place on September 21, 2019.

Apply for a Grant
The next New England States Touring (NEST) Grant deadline is a week away, August 1. NEST Grants help organizations across the six New England states present New England artists touring the region.
*NEFA implemented a new and improved application system for the New England States Touring (NEST) August deadline. Other programs' applications will upgrade over the course of the next year.

Grant deadlines are at 11:59 PM ET. NEFA staff are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET.
Watch the Creative Economy Award ceremony and select sessions from the sixth biennial Creative Communities Exchange 2019 in Montpelier, VT. The Creative Communities Exchange convened 260 participants from around New England to share how they connect creative work to community goals.
