Veterans Day - Honoring All Who Served

From everyone here at Team HMC, we'd like to say thank you, to all of our Veterans who have served. Your bravery and leadership is recognized and appreciated. We're very thankful for all of our Veterans throughout our communities.

For those in the Contra Costa/Alameda County Area, we encourage you to take a look at the scheduled Motorcycle Run, hosted by the American Legion Riders (ALR) District 9 of Contra Costa County. "Riders will depart in formation from the Veterans Memorial Building in Brentwood" and the ride will conclude at the Veterans Memorial Building in Livermore. Be sure to check the Schedule for your area.

Another Successful Legal Forum

Thank you to everyone who attended the CAI BayCen 2020 Legal Forum! Despite the difference in how we came to together, it was another successful gathering filled with smiles all around. Another special shoutout to Team HMC's very own Susanne Darner, CCAM, Senior Community Manager for a magnificent job on hosting the topic of Tendering Insurance Claims.

We hope to see you all, and more, next year!

The 5 Types of HOA Meetings

Team HMC believes informed homeowners are the key to a successful community. In our Blog Article, you'll find descriptions of the five different types of Board Meetings that the Board of Directors may hold.

A Homeowners Association is modeled after the City Government model. For example: The Board of Directors would be the City Council, the Association Manager would be the City Manager, Landscapers would be Park and Recreations and the most important element, The Homeowners which are the Community Members. The reporting and decision making process is similar to the City Government model as well; the Association Manager gathers information that the Board of Directors may request or may need to make an informed decision for the community.

Welcoming A New Community

Despite the challenges related to the pandemic and recent wildfires, HMC is proud to announce the addition of a new community to our Bay Area portfolio. Please join us in extending a very warm welcome to the following community who recently made the switch to Team HMC:

The Paragon Homeowners Association

Thank you for selecting Homeowners Management Company as your managing agent and business partner. We look forward to working with you for many years to come.

The History of Labor Day

The Importance of HMC Connect & COVID-19

HMC Connect is a personalized website/app for your specific association. During a state of emergency such as this one, HMC Connect allows your community to continue to work together, stay connected, and remain strong. We highly recommend you reach out to your manager about getting your association connected if you do not already have an HMC Connect website set up for your community.

Homeowners Management Company continues the successful roll-out of our latest service offering, HMC Connect. HMC Connect is a customized website, private homeowner portal and mobile app solution all-in-one, which allows HOA members to keep informed and connected with their HOA community.

With a mobile app available for Android or iOS, HMC Connect allows homeowners to access their account, make a payment online, find important community information, download forms online, place a service request with management and receive email, text and/or mobile app notifications when new information is posted to the site.
