The Lydia Circle will be holding their annual sale of Orchid plants on the Plaza, following each service commencing on Sunday, May 6th and again on May 13th, if there are any left from the first sale.
This is Lydia Circle's biggest fundraiser, as the profits go to making Easter Baskets, His Walk, Sponsoring a Family for Christmas, etc.

Senior Sunday is May 13th. We will celebrate our Senior Graduating Class of 2018 during the 9:30am service. We have a large class this year. Please send 3-5 pictures of your graduating student(s) to Chris, either by dropping off at the office or by sending them digitally to [email protected]. Please have them in by May 5th.

CHILD SAFETY & PROTECTION TRAINING
MAY 17
First Church Coral Springs
is inviting the Southeast District churches and all Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, and ECM volunteers to participate in the Child Safety and Protection Training led by LaNita Battles, Claims and Risk Manager, from the Office of Ministry Protection, Florida Annual Conference.
Training will be held on Thursday, May 17th at 6:30 pm.
Registration is now open
and will run through May 14th, 2018.

STUDENT MISSIONS SILENT AUCTION DINNER
MAY 19
First Church Student Ministry is taking two groups on two separate mission trips this summer. One team is going to the Dominican Republic and the other team is going to Houston, Texas. On May 19th, the Student Mission Teams will be hosting a Student Missions Fundraiser in Robey Hall at 6:00pm. ALL DONATIONS will be to support mission trips and scholarships to Warren Willis Camp. Come support our Student Ministry!

SELF DEFENSE TRAINING FOR YOUTH
JUNE 13
The First Church Youth Program is partnering with the Coral Springs Police Department to introduce a self-defense program to Youth in grades 6-12. This dynamic, hands-on introductory class will be held on Wednesday, June 13th from 6pm - 7:45pm upstairs in Youth Fellowship Hall. Students will engage in discussion on situational awareness and be educated on crime trends affecting their age group. Then, students will participate in safety drills and learn self-defense moves. We are honored to have Officer Ashley Kozlowski of the Coral Springs Police Department teach our Youth how to utilize the knowledge, skills and training so students feel empowered to protect themselves. For the month of May, we are requesting pasta, pasta sauce, 1lb bag of rice, and canned black beans.
Bring your contributions on Sunday and put them in the designated cart.
