Greetings!
Part of what we talk about at ESABA is creating conditions for sustainable business - businesses that can grow, thrive, and give back long term. Borrowing from the Alliance for Sustainability - this can mean building businesses that are economically viable, ecologically sound, socially just, and humane. This week we are hitting a couple of these high points as we take our member meeting to Culver's where owner Doug Swalboski invested his BizRecycling grant to boost recycling and organics. We'll hear about improvements you can make to your property to take on water quality issues and the money you can get to make those projects work. And we'll look at ways we are building a stronger social fabric by standing side by side and getting involved. Check out some of those opportunities with East Side Lions and District 1 below. And let's not forget a couple of big dollar wins for the future of MN Humanities Center, Wakan Tipi Center and Conway Rec Center - that's investment for the long term good. See you Thursday for Member Meeting... and a long time to come!
