City Council Meeting April 1st

Time to Renew Your Pet License
Pet licensing for 2019 is here. All pet owners must register their animals by March 31st to avoid penalty or increased registration fees. The owners of all dogs and cats, six (6) months of age or older, are required by ordinance to obtain an animal license. A copy of your pet's current rabies certificate is required for a new or renewal license. The fee for a neutered animals is $20. The fee for a non-neutered animals is $30. Pet Licenses are available at the Windsor Heights Public Safety Building located at 1133 66th Street. The 2019 Pet License Application is available on the Windsor Heights website at

Save the Date and Volunteers Needed! Earth Day Clean-Up April 20th
One billion people take part in EARTH DAY activities around the world. Please join the community of Windsor Heights in support of EARTH DAY and raising awareness for the care and protection of our planet. Windsor Heights invites all volunteers to participate in Windsor Heights Stream Clean-Up. 
WHEN: April 20th, 2019
WHERE: Meet at the Windsor Heights Community Center for a short presentation. Volunteers will be divided into designated clean-up groups.
Designated Areas of Focus:
· I-235 to Walmart
· CityWide Heating and Cooling to College Drive Bridge
· College Drive Bridge to Hickman Bridge
TIME: 8:00am -12:00pm
NOTE: Please wear appropriate old clothing, closed toe shoes and long pants. Bring gloves if available.

Weather Considerations: determination to cancel the event due to weather will be made by 7:00 am on the 20th. Notice will be posted to the City's social media accounts. The event will be held on April 27th at the same time and place if rained out on the 20th.
