The first floor hallway became deafeningly silent this week, as the youngest members of our school family were next to start their summer! Final celebrations for our preschoolers took place on Monday and Tuesday, followed by an outstanding kindergarten graduation on Wednesday. The kindergartners (future SFX Class of 2026) marched across the stage for their diplomas, as well as danced and sang their little hearts out for an audience filled with loved ones! A great deal of thanks is extended to our wonderfully dedicated teachers who have accomplished GREAT things with their students this year!
On Monday, please make certain that your children are well prepared for Field Day 2018. The forecast is calling for a warm day, so please make certain that your child(ren) applies sunscreen, wears a hat, and brings a snack and plenty of cold water! We could certainly use more parental help and supervision that day, if your schedule allows, please indicate your willingness to assist below.
Our day together on Tuesday will be highlighted with students "stepping up" to next year's grade, and "getting a taste" of what is in store for them in the fall. They will also be receiving summer work packets and assignments to keep them sharp during the summer months. And finally, our last day together will consist of Holy Mass at 9am followed by an End of Year Assembly at 10:15am. All are welcome!
Have a great weekend..... t-minus two and a half days until summer!
